Cancellation Policy – Full Package (Course & Accommodation)
At ShipCon, we aim to provide flexibility while ensuring fair conditions for all parties involved.
The Full Package Fee includes:
- course/training fee
- accommodation
- transfers and related services
Due to the nature of these combined services, the following cancellation policy applies:
1. Course Fee (Training Component)
The course/training fee follows the standard ShipCon policy:
- Transferable to any future confirmed ShipCon course without an administrative charge.
- Transferable to another participant from the same organisation for any confirmed course, at any location.
If Refund is asked:
- More than 14 days before start: €100 administrative fee
- Less than 14 days: €200 administrative fee
- Less than 7 days: no refund
2. Accommodation & Services
Accommodation and related services are subject to third-party provider agreements and operational commitments.
Therefore:
- Accommodation costs are non-refundable once confirmed and paid, especially in cases where reservations have been secured for the group
- In case of cancellation, ShipCon will make every reasonable effort to recover part of the accommodation cost, however this cannot be guaranteed
3. Full Package Cancellation (Combined)
In case of cancellation of the full package:
- The course fee may be transferred or refunded according to the above policy
- The accommodation and services cost may be partially or fully non-refundable, depending on supplier conditions and timing of cancellation
4. Recommended Option
ShipCon strongly recommends participants and organisations to use the transfer option, which allows:
avoidance of cancellation costs
full preservation of the course value
flexibility for future participation
