DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING CONTENT
“English for Educators: Communicate with Confidence” is a dynamic, hands-on masterclass designed to significantly improve the English communication skills of teachers and school staff. The course focuses on spoken fluency, natural communication, pronunciation, and practical English used in everyday professional and international contexts. With its strong emphasis on real-life situations—introductions, classroom language, instructions, teamwork, problem-solving, meetings, emails, and cross-cultural exchanges—this programme ensures participants feel confident and capable when using English in their schools or abroad.
The course is structured in an easy-to-follow manner and is ideal for educators at A2–B1 levels who prefer interactive, practical learning over theoretical grammar. Through simulations, pair work, group discussions, debates, listening tasks, and real-time feedback, teachers strengthen their communication skills while gaining the confidence needed to engage actively in Erasmus+ mobility activities, international projects, study visits, and multicultural settings.
Participants leave the course with greater fluency, sharper pronunciation, richer vocabulary, and the confidence to communicate naturally and professionally in English.
MAIN AIMS
By the end of the course, participants will:
• Strengthen spoken communication skills for classroom, staffroom and mobility contexts
• Build confidence speaking English in front of groups
• Improve pronunciation, rhythm, stress and intonation
• Enhance fluency and natural conversational ability
• Develop practical English for everyday school and international interactions
• Expand vocabulary related to teaching, collaboration and Erasmus+ mobility
• Gain confidence communicating with colleagues, partners and students in intercultural situations
Why this course?
As schools across Europe become more internationally connected, English proficiency has become essential for teachers participating in Erasmus+ projects, study visits, international cooperation, CLIL programmes, and multicultural classrooms. Many educators feel unsure about speaking English, especially in professional situations where clarity and confidence are needed.
This course provides a supportive, non-judgmental environment where educators practise real communication in meaningful contexts. Instead of grammar-heavy lessons, the programme focuses on practical fluency, useful expressions, and natural communication, enabling teachers to express themselves confidently during mobility activities, staff meetings, project discussions, lesson exchanges, and informal conversations.
It is particularly beneficial for teachers who feel hesitant or anxious when speaking English and who want to strengthen their communication skills in a safe and encouraging setting.
